Flat (or transparent): should be used in double displays, allowing thus the level visualization and the colour of the different fluids through the passage of light.
Reflex (or reflective): used in simple displays, allowing the visualization of the level of only one liquid - the colour distinction is not possible due to the lack of light trespassing it.
